A year of trying new things

Jenny Levison sitting in the Cortelyou branch of the Brooklyn Public Library (a first!) after speaking with us about her Never Done Year.

Looking for a way to gain perspective on your life? Maybe you should try what Jenny Levison decided to do. She’s decided to do something new everyday for a year and write about it.  Her year is almost up and we at The BK Buzz were wondering what she has been able to take from the experience. Quite a lot it seems. Check it out.

Another important thing that came out of this process for Levison was the Brooklyn Soup Swap, which she says has been a great source of community.

Levison writes about each of her new experiences on her blog, which she hopes to eventually turn into an interactive portal for people who are interested in doing something similar to her Never Done Year. Check it out if you’d like to know more about her experiences, she even wrote about meeting and talking with us!  We also recommend reading this story in Brooklyn Based where she talks about being read a bedtime story as an adult (also a never done).
