Explore a bit of history at the Brooklyn Navy Yard

Most in Brooklyn have a vague knowledge of the Brooklyn Navy Yard (primarily knowledge of Steiner Studios, located on the property) but how many know the history of the site and what kinds of things go on their today? We at The BK Buzz were unsure ourselves, so when we heard that the Yard had recently opened a new exhibition and visitor’s center, we decided to find out what was really going on behind those gates.
