Island Connection

Casco Bay in the Gulf of Maine is full of islands. Many of the islands host a sizable summer population and a few have year round residents. But how do the people who live on these islands get to and from the mainland? By ferry boat, of course! Shannon Geis rode along with a ferry boat captain for the Casco Bay Ferry Lines on his morning mail route and found out what island life is like for the people who live in Casco Bay.
